Bermuda Run, NC Air Conditioner Repair & Electrician Services
History of Bermuda Run, NC
Originally the location of Ariston Farm in the 1920s, the town of Bermuda Run was developed as Billy Satterfield, a resident of Clemmons, looked for a good location to create his own country club. He purchased land at $1,000 per acre, selling lots at 10 times that amount. The first of these lots went to Arnold Palmer. During the 1980s, the area was expanded as developers bought the remaining land and acquired an additional 234 acres. An emphasis on luxury accommodations and amenities was integral in further development. The town was incorporated in 1999, one of the few gated communities to be recognized as a municipality. Additional expansion has since occurred as Kinderton Village was annexed voluntarily.
